This recipe is delicious and so easy to put together when you don't want to spend a lot of time cooking in the kitchen. Ingredients:
1 (16 ounce) packet linguine |
4 ounces butter |
3 garlic cloves, minced |
1 lb large shrimp, cleaned and deveined |
1/4 cup white wine |
1 lemon, juice of |
1 pinch red pepper flakes |
1/8 cup fresh parsley, chopped fine |
salt and pepper, to taste |
lemon wedge, to serve |
Directions:
1. First, prepare pasta according to the packet instructions. 2. In a large skillet heat the butter and then add the garlic and saute on medium heat for 2 to 3 minutes. 3. Add shrimp and wine, cook for 2 to 3 minutes. 4. Next add the remaining ingredients and cook a further 2 minutes. 5. Serve over the hot cooked pasta with the lemon wedges. |
