Shrimp and cheese, two of my favorite foods in the whole world.
Ingredients:
2 -3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons margarine
2 lbs shrimp, peeled and deveined
salt and pepper
1/2 cup white wine
2 cups shredded monterey jack cheese
2 tablespoons minced parsley

1. In a large skillet, saute the garlic in butter over medium heat.
2. Add the shrimp and saute for 4-5 minutes or until the shrimp are pink.
3. Using a slotted spoon, transfer the shrimp to a greased 11 x 7 inch baking dish.
4. May sprinkle shrimp lightly with salt/pepper if desired.
5. Add the wine to the skillet; bring to a boil over medium heat.
6. Cook and stir for 5 minutes or until reduced.
7. Pour over shrimp.
8. Sprinkle cheese evenly over the shrimp.
9. Sprinkle with parsley.
10. Bake at 350 degrees, uncovered, for 10 minutes or until the cheese melts.
