These are so easy and ever so GOOD! Buying shrimp that is already cleaned and shelled will save you a lot of time. Ingredients:
1 loaf italian bread |
3/4 lb shrimp |
3/4 cup salsa |
2 avocados |
6 ounces monterey jack cheese |
Directions:
1. Split bread in half lengthwise. 2. Shell and clean shrimp then coarsely dice. 3. Saute shrimp in medium-size skillet with salsa for about 4 minutes. 4. Slice avocados and layer on bread halves. 5. Spoon shrimp on avocado. 6. Top with cheese. 7. Broil 2 to 3 minutes or until cheese melts. 8. Cut each half in half. |
