Crockpot recipe. Sodium in this calculated really high. Use low salt tomatoes if you want to lower the salt content. Ingredients:
14 ounces diced tomatoes with italian herbs, undrained |
6 ounces tomato paste |
1/2 cup water |
2 garlic cloves, minced |
2 tablespoons parsley, fresh, minced |
1 teaspoon salt, optional |
1 1/2 teaspoons italian seasoning |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
16 ounces shrimp, cooked, peeled, deveined |
Directions:
1. In a slow cooker, combine the first eight ingredients. Cover and cook on low for 3 - 4 hours. 2. Stir in shrimp. Cover and cook 20 minutes longer or just until shrimp are heated through. Serve over spaghetti. Garnish with Parmesan cheese if desired. |
