This is a great Saturday night meal after being at the beach, lake or river all day. Also how can you go wrong with shrimp and bacon Ingredients:
1 lb medium shrimp (cleaned and deveined) |
2 green peppers (cut into 1 inch pieces) |
3 cups button mushrooms |
4 slices of thick bacon (cut into 1 inch pieces) |
1/2 cup vegetable oil |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
1 teaspoon garlic powder |
Directions:
1. On moistened skewers place a shrimp, bacon, mushroom and pepper then repeat. 2. Combine oil, salt, pepper and garlic, mix well. 3. Brush kebabs with sauce and place on a broiler pan and place on top rack. 4. Broil 5 to 7 minutes turn and brush with sauce and broil for another 5 to 7 minutes longer. |
