This recipe is incredibly easy and fast. My fiancee and friends love it, and they're all from the north! Ingredients:
1 lb shrimp |
1 tablespoon olive oil |
1/4 cup white wine |
1/4 cup heavy cream |
2 -5 chopped garlic cloves |
2 teaspoons parmesan cheese |
1 teaspoon nutmeg |
1 teaspoon kosher salt |
1 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper |
1 teaspoon oregano |
Directions:
1. Place olive oil in skillet on medium heat, add shrimp and sautee for 4 minutes. 2. Add salt, garlic, oregano, pepper, nutmeg, and white wine. 3. Bring to a boil for a minute, remove from heat. 4. Remove shrimp from mixture. 5. Add cream and parmesan, bring back to a boil. 6. Cook for five minutes, or until thickened. 7. Serve over pasta. |
