8 ounces sweet rice |
1/2 cup coconut milk |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
2 -3 drops yellow food coloring |
1 lb shrimp, cleaned and shelled |
green onion |
1 teaspoon seafood seasoning |
Directions:
1. Tremble (soak) sweet rice in coconut milk for one night with food coloring. Steam for about 30 minutes. Cut shrimp into small pieces and fry in a pan with salt, pepper and seafood seasoning. Place sweet rice on a platter in the shape of a circle. Place shrimp in center and garnish with green onion. |
