This is kind of like shrimp cocktail on a cracker. I use large shrimp 20-25 per lb. You can used prepared cocktail sauce or make your own. Ingredients:
12 oz cream cheese at room temperature |
1-2 tbsp worcestershire sauce |
1 tbsp lemon juice |
2 tbsp mayonnaise |
1/2 small onion, minced |
dash garlic powder |
1 jar cocktail sauce |
12 oz shrimp, cooked & halved |
2-3 green onions chopped |
fresh parsley chopped |
Directions:
1. Mix together the cream cheese, worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, mayo, onion and garlic powder. 2. Spread in the bottom of a 9x13 cake pan or a 12 pie plate. 3. Cover the cream cheese mixture with the cocktail sauce. 4. Place the shrimp on top of the cocktail sauce. 5. Sprinkle the chopped green onions and pasley over the shrimp as garnish. 6. Chill for a minimum of 2 hours. 7. Serve with some kind of butter cracker like town house or toasteds. |
