a delight combo in this soup Ingredients:
2 cups sliced mushrooms |
1 can, 16 0z chicken broth |
4 oz cheddar cheese grated |
1/2 cup heavy cream |
1 tsp hot sauce |
pepper totaste |
1 lb shrimp, shelled and deveined |
parsley for garnish |
Directions:
1. Combine mushrooms and broth and bring to a boil and cook 5 mins 2. Reduce heat to a simmer and add the cheese and cream 3. Cook and stir to blend in the cheese 4. meanwhile cook shrimp i n boiling water until they turn red, about 5 mins 5. Drain shrimp, add to the soup, bring to a boil again, remove from heat and serve with a garnish of parsley |
