This is another one of my handwritten recipes. I have no idea where I got this. Ingredients:
1 lb shrimp, cooked peeled and chopped |
2 scallions, finely chopped |
3 tablespoons celery, finely chopped |
2 tablespoons parsley, finely chopped |
3 tablespoons mayonnaise |
1 cup unseasoned breadcrumbs |
1 egg, beaten |
salt and pepper |
tabasco sauce (optional) |
1 tablespoon oil |
Directions:
1. Mix shrimp in large bowl with scallions and parsley. Stir in mayonnaise, crumbs and egg; whisk until well combined. Season with salt, pepper and tabasco to taste. Shape into burgers and saute in oil until both sides are browned. Drain on paper towels. Serve on buns with tartar sauce, lettuce and sliced cheese. |
