I recieved this recipe from one of the nurses in Recovery when I worked at the hospital. Anytime we had a holiday get together she was always ask to bring her Shrimp Ball Ingredients:
shrimp ball recipe |
cooked frozen baby shrimp (defrosted) (1-2 8oz. packages) chopped fine |
8 oz packages (2) regular cream cheese (softened) |
1 stick butter (softened) |
1/4 onion (diced) |
1 t. worstishire sauce |
1 t. ground pepper |
2 t. lemon juice |
shrimp cocktail sauce |
1 12 oz bottle chili sauce |
1tbsp lemon juice |
1tbsp lea and perrins worchestershire sauce |
1tbsp horseradish |
mix together, chill. this can be make ahead of time. |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients in bowl. Form into ball. Wrap in Saran Wrap. Keep refrigerated overnight until firm. 2. Place in center of large platter. Pour Shrimp coctail sauce with horsersadish on top to decorate. Fresh parsley sprinkled on top to decorate for Christmas colors. Arrange favorite crackers around to serve. |
