A great salad for a hot summer day. Perfect with rosé wine. Ingredients:
2 ripe avocados |
1 head of iceberg lettuce |
1 cup cooked and peeled shrimp |
mayonnaise |
juice from half a lime |
1 tablespoon seafood sauce |
a few drops of tabasco |
Directions:
1. First put aside two nice crispy leaves of lettuce to use as 'bowls' to serve the salad. 2. Cut the avocados in halfs and set them in the two leaves, in the middle of two pretty plates. 3. Mix the shrimp and the dressing. 4. Put the shrimp in the two avocado halves on each plate and on the lettuce leaves around them. 5. It looks very pretty and is good enough to serve to company. |
