Shrimp And Macroni N' Cheese |

Found from Mr. Food, added a few things. This is now a staple food in my home. Just could not eat enough of this So good and cheesy and if you love shrimp like I do, you too can be in heaven Ingredients:
1 pound of medium shells |
1/2 stick of butter |
2 tbsp flour |
1 tsp seafood seasoning (old bay) |
1/2 tsp salt |
1/2 tsp pepper |
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes |
2 cups half n' half |
4 cups shredded cheddar cheese |
1 block of gouda cheese (cut up) |
1 onion chopped |
1 pound of cooked shrimp (100 est) package, cut in half |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375. 2. Spray 9 x 13 baking dish with cooking spray 3. Cook shells in salted boiling water till al dente, drain well 4. In large pot, melt butter over medium heat, add onion and saute till light 5. Add flour, seafood seasoning, salt/pepper and red flakes 6. Gradually add Half N'Half , bring to boil and cook till thickened stirring constantly 7. Stir in 3 cups cheddar cheese and gouda cheese, stir till melted 8. Add cooked shells and shrimp and mix well 9. Pour into prepared pan 10. Top with remaining cheese 11. (Optional: buttered bread crumbs) 12. Bake 35-40 uncovered for until throughly heated and top is golden brown |
