This came from a friend in Hawaii. It is delicious, economical and easy to make! Everyone asks for seconds. It can be adapted for cooking on the stove or oven, but the crock pot was best! Ingredients:
3/4 cup brown sugar |
1/2 cup vinegar |
3/4 cup soy sauce |
1 teaspoon ginger |
1 teaspoon garlic |
1 1/2 cups water |
8 -12 pieces skinless chicken thighs |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients, except chicken, in a bowl and mix. 2. Place chicken in a crock pot and pour sauce on top. 3. Cook on low heat for about six hours, stirring occasionally. |
