My brother shared this non-traditional shortcut recipe with me. Ingredients:
1 cup long-grain rice |
2 1/2 cups water |
1 teaspoon salt |
3 tablespoons vegetable oil |
Directions:
1. Mix the ingredients together in a saucepan and bring to a boil, stirring frequently. 2. When it turns milky, cover, turn to low and cook for 20 minutes. |
