Using frozen bread dough as your base makes these quick and easy to prepare. Cut this recipe from a magazine years ago. Ingredients:
2 tablespoons brown sugar |
1/3 cup chopped pecans |
2 tablespoons butter |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
1 lb frozen bread dough, thawed |
1 cup powdered sugar |
2 tablespoons milk |
Directions:
1. Roll out thawed frozen bread dough into a 15 x 9 inch rectangle. 2. Combine brown sugar, pecans, butter and cinnamon, and spread over bread dough. 3. Roll up dough length wise and cut into 9 slices. 4. Place slices in a greased 8-inch baking dish and bake at 375 degrees for 27 minutes. 5. Mix powdered sugar with milk and use as glaze for cinnamon rolls. |
