mom's recipe Ingredients:
8 ounces unsalted butter, room temperature |
2 cups all-purpose flour |
3/4 teaspoon salt |
1/2 cup sugar |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
Directions:
1. Cream butter 3-5 min until fluffy. 2. add sugar and beat 2 min. 3. add vanilla. 4. add flour and salt and combine on low speed. 5. chill 60 min. 6. roll out to 1/4 thickness and cut into stars. 7. bake at 325 for 18-20 min. 8. once cooled, sprinkle with powdered sugar. |
