Ingredients:
2 cups butter, softened |
2 cups sugar |
4 cups sifted bread flour or all-purpose flour |
Directions:
1. Cream butter in a large mixing bowl; gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Gradually add flour, beating until thoroughly blended. 2. Press mixture into a 15- x 10- x 1-inch jellyroll pan; prick surface with tines of a fork. Bake at 300° for 50 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool completely in pan. Cut into 2-inch squares. |
