Ingredients:
4oz butter (not sweet butter) room temp |
2oz caster sugar |
1oz corn flour sieved |
5oz plain flour sieved |
Directions:
1. Set the oven to 160c gas mark 2-3. 2. Grease round sandwich tin. 3. Cream the butter and sugar together until pale and fluffy. 4. Add flour and corn flour sieved together and mix well. 5. Press dough into the sandwich tin and smooth with palette knife. 6. Prick all over with a fork and mark into 8 wedges with a sharp knife. 7. bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour, until firm to the touch. 8. DO NOT ALLOW TO BROWN, 9. While still warm cut into 8 wedges and sprinkle with caster sugar. 10. Enjoy with a nice cup of coffee.. |
