Your kids will have a great time rolling the dough into balls! Ingredients:
1 cup unsalted butter, softened |
1/2 cup icing sugar |
2 teaspoons vanilla |
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour |
1/2 cup cornstarch |
3/4 teaspoon baking powder |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1 cup skor toffee pieces |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. 2. Line cookie sheets with parchment paper. 3. Beat butter, icing sugar and vanilla until creamy. 4. In a separate bowl, combine flour, corn starch, baking powder and salt;stir half into butter mixture. 5. Stir in toffee bits and remaining flour mixture. 6. Roll heaping tablespoons of dough into balls and place on prepared cookie sheets about 2 inches apart. 7. Bake in preheated oven for about 15 minutes or until lightly golden. 8. Let cool on pan for about 5 minutes and dust with more icing sugar, if desired. |
