This recipe comes from our friend Amy McCann. She grew up with Christine, our sister-in-law, and has since adopted our family as part of thier circle of friends. According to her this is her favorite recipe and it's very easy . The yield is a guesstimate. Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups butter, softened |
3/4 cup sugar |
2 tablespoons brown sugar |
3 1/2 cups flour |
Directions:
1. MIx all ingredients and split mixture in half. 2. Make two long ropes about an 1 1/2 wide and slice through dough. Size of slices up to you. 3. Place on Cookie sheet. Poke with fork twice. 4. Bake at 300 for 20-25 minutes. 5. Allow to cool and you're ready to eat them! |
