2 1/2-3 lbs beef short ribs |
1/3 cup flour |
1 teaspoon salt |
3/4 teaspoon pepper |
2 tablespoons oil |
1 cup onion |
1 garlic clove |
1 cup water |
1 bay leaf |
2 tablespoons brown sugar |
1/4 cup vinegar |
2 tablespoons soy sauce |
Directions:
1. Dredge ribs in flour, salt and pepper. Fry in oil. 2. Fry onions and garlic in oil. 3. Combine water, bay leaf, brown sugar, vinegar, and soy sauce. Pour over ribs, cover and bake 2 1/2 hours. 4. f. |
