Husband said this is the best shoo fly pie he ever had when I made it. Ingredients:
3 cups flour |
1 cup brown sugar |
3/4 cup butter |
1 cup molasses |
1 cup hot water |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
3 drops vinegar |
2 unbaked pie crusts |
Directions:
1. Blend flour, sugar and butter until lumpy and save for topping. 2. Blend Molasses, hot water, soda and vinegar. 3. Pour mixture into unbaked pie crusts. 4. Top with crumb mixture and bake in a 350 degree oven for 35 minutes. |
