Another from the Mennonite cookbook Ingredients:
1 unbaked pie shell |
1 1/2 cups flour |
1/4 cup butter or 1/4 cup margarine |
3/4 cup light brown sugar |
1/2 teaspoon baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon baking soda, dissolved in |
3/4 cup boiling water |
3/4 cup dark corn syrup |
Directions:
1. Preheat over to 375. 2. Mix crumb ingredients till crumbly :). 3. Mix syrup ingredients well. Pour syrup mixture into pie shell. 4. Immediately sprinkle crumbs on top of liquid. 5. Bake at 375 for 45 minutes. |
