I always loved Shoney's Strawberry Pie. Ingredients:
5 tablespoons corn starch |
1 1/2 cups sugar |
1 (10-ounce) bottle of 7-up |
1 teaspoon red food coloring |
enough fresh strawberries to fill pie shell |
1 baked 9-inch pie shell |
Directions:
1. Mix corn starch and sugar; add 7-Up and food coloring.
2. Cook until thick; cool at least 2 hours and pour over fresh strawberries in the baked pie shell.
3. Cool at least 2 hours before serving.
