this is my version of the tasty chicken. i serve it with pita bread, hummus, tzatziki and veggies. you can marinate this as long you want, at least 15 minutes though. also very good over rice. prep and cook time don't include marinating. Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts, cubed (can use thighs) |
1/4 cup plain yogurt |
1/4 cup ketchup |
3 teaspoons paprika |
1 tablespoon lemon juice |
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/2 teaspoon curry powder |
2 teaspoons garlic powder |
black pepper |
salt |
1 -2 tablespoon oil |
Directions:
1. combine all ingredients except oil and let the chicken sit overnight or at least 15 minutes. 2. heat oil in a heavy skillet over med-high heat and add chicken with sauce. 3. cook about 5 minutes until done. |
