4 tablespoons butter, softened |
12 eggs |
salt and pepper |
1/3 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 325°F. 2. Melt butter in a small pan. Put 1 tsp in to each baking cup and swirl to coat the bottom and sides. Crack each egg into a buttered cup and sprinkle with salt and pepper. 3. Bake for 6 minutes, or until the eggs are almost set. Sprinkle on the grated cheese and bake 2-3 more minutes. Tip and tilt cup, if egg white is set and opaque, it is done. Remove eggs from cups with a small spoon and serve. |
