My bachelor uncle gave me this recipe. It is easy to make and pop in the oven while you do other things and tastes great. Ingredients:
3 lbs stewing beef |
2 cans cream of mushroom soup |
3/4 cup sherry wine (may use 1 cup) |
1/2 package dry onion soup mix |
1 cup chopped mushroom |
Directions:
1. Cut Meat into 1 inch cubes. 2. Combine all ingredients in large casserole dish. 3. Sprinkle in a little cornstarch. 4. Cover and Bake 325 degrees for 3 hours. 5. Add chopped mushrooms 15 minutes before serving. 6. Serve over cooked rice or noodles. |
