Found on dining tables throughout Turkey, this fresh vegetable combination is generally served along with other salads and dips as part of the meze. The meze is served prior to the main course. Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups diced tomato |
1 cup diced green bell pepper |
1 cup diced peeled cucumber |
1/2 cup minced fresh parsley |
1/3 cup sliced green onions |
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice |
2 tablespoons water |
1 tablespoon olive oil |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/8 teaspoon pepper |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl. Chill for 1 hour. |
