Ingredients:
1 22 oz package frozen mashed potatoes |
1 cup(s) beef broth |
2 tablespoon(s) flour |
1/2 cup(s) frozen sliced carrot, thawed |
1 pound(s) ground beef |
1 large egg, lightly beaten |
1 onion, chopped |
1/2 teaspoon(s) pepper, divided |
2 teaspoon(s) salt, divided |
1/2 cup(s) shredded cheddar cheese (2 oz) |
Directions:
1. Cook potatoes according to package. 2. Cook beef and onion in skillet over medium-high heat 5-6 min, stirring til beef crumbles and is no longer pink. Drain and return to skillet. Add carrot. Stir in flour, 1 tsp salt, and 1/4 tsp pepper. Add broth and cook, stirring constantly, 3 min or til slightly thickened. Spoon into lightly greased 11x7" baking dish. 3. Combine potatoes, egg, 1 tsp salt, and 1/4 tsp pepper. Spoon over beef mixture. Bake at 350 degrees 25 min. Sprinkle with cheese and bake 5 more minutes. |
