Ingredients:
1 1/2 pounds ground lamb |
1 egg, beaten |
1/2 cup milk |
1/2 cup soft breadcrumbs |
1/2 cup diced, cooked carrots |
1/4 cup chopped onion |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
5 cups seasoned mashed potatoes |
Directions:
1. Cook lamb in a large skillet over medium heat until browned, stirring to crumble meat. Drain well. Combine lamb, egg, milk, breadcrumbs, carrots, onion, and salt in a large bowl, mixing well. 2. Press half of potatoes firmly into a lightly greased 9-inch pie plate. Spoon lamb mixture over potatoes. Spread remaining potatoes evenly over top. Bake at 350° for 1 hour or until top is lightly browned. |
