This is my own recipe for Shepherd's Pie. Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs lean ground beef |
1 (16 ounce) can corn |
1 (16 ounce) can green peas |
1 (8 ounce) can green beans |
1 medium onion, finely diced |
1 garlic clove |
4 -5 medium potatoes, cooked and mashed |
salt |
pepper |
grated cheddar cheese |
Directions:
1. On high heat, brown ground beef, onion, and garlic. Reduce heat and add seasoning (salt, pepper, and any other seasoning you like). Crumble ground beef into a casserole or baking dish, add corn, peas, and green beans. Cover evenly with mashed potatoes and scatter the grated cheddar cheese on top. 2. Place in preheated 350°F oven and bake for 30-35 minutes. Mashed potatoes should be golden brown and cheese should be bubbly. |
