Peanut butter -based protein bars with fruit and oats Ingredients:
760 g natural peanut butter |
3 c rolled oats |
90 g soy protein isolate |
3 c 2% milk |
1/4 c dried blueberries |
1 c dried apricots |
1 c raisins |
Directions:
1. Chop the apricots finely 2. Mix all ingredients together. Mixture will be thick, but should be just spreadable. 3. Spread in greased baking pan or on non-stick cookie sheet 4. Bake on low heat until springy to the touch 5. Cut into bars 6. Transfer to food dryer. Dry at 135 F overnight or until done - sort of crispy-ish and leathery-ish. 7. Package in small amounts in plastic zipper storage bags, removing all the air before sealing. |
