This is a nice sauce to serve with roast pork....a change from applesauce. It's on an old food covered recipe card.....no idea where it came from. Ingredients:
1/2 cup sugar |
1 tablespoon cornstarch |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon |
12 cloves |
1 cup orange juice (reconstituted) |
Directions:
1. Combine all and cook until thick and clear. 2. Remove cloves and serve. 3. Cooking time is approximate. |
