This spicy soup can be a appetizer and for those who are on weight reduction plan.Goes well with soup sticks or toasted bread.
Ingredients:
vegetable stock 1.50 litre
1 carrot julienned.
1 green pepper julienned
1 celery stem chopped fine.
5 french beans julienned.
green peas 150gms
cabbage 100gms julienned
mushrooms 5- 7 sliced.
1 white onion chopped finely
4 pods of garlic finely crushed.
1 thai spicy chilly chopped (optional)
seasoning; salt for taste
white pepper powder- 1/2 tsp
butter-1 tsp
soy sauce -onetbsp.
white vinegar- 1 tsp.
garnish: chopped spring onions or cilantro.
Directions:
1. Add all ingredients to the boiling stock in a saucepan.
2. Keep it covered for 15.-20 minutes until all vegetables are cooked well in high flame.
3. Add the seasonings one by one when the vegetables are well cooked.
4. To garnish sprinkle with chopped spring onions/cilantro. Serve hot.
