Very simple with only a few ingredients that you probably already have in the cupboard. Ingredients:
2 cups cooked chicken |
1 (4 ounce) can sliced mushrooms |
1/2 cup dry white wine |
3 garlic cloves, chopped |
1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup |
1/2 cup milk |
4 ounces whole wheat spaghetti |
1 cup breadcrumbs |
salt |
pepper |
Directions:
1. Cook spaghetti according to box directions. 2. Skin and debone chicken and set aside. 3. Mix soup and milk and set aside. 4. Melt 2 T butter in small saute pan. 5. Add garlic and mushrooms and cook till bubbly. 6. Add wine to saute pan and heat thoroughly. 7. Melt remaining butter and mix with breadcrumbs. 8. In medium bowl, combine spaghetti, chicken, soup mixture and saute mixture 9. Add salt and pepper to taste. 10. Pour into greased 8x8 casserole and top with buttered bread crumbs. 11. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until thick and bubbly. |
