The English have been making shandys since the 1600s. If you prefer, you can substitute 1 1/2 cups ginger ale for the seltzer and frozen limeade. Dietary Exchanges: 2 fruit (2 1/2 Carbohydrate Servings). Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups seltzer water, well chilled |
1 beer, well chilled (nonalcoholic, if desired) |
2 tablespoons frozen limeade concentrate |
2 lemon wedges |
Directions:
1. Combine seltzer, beer and limeade. Pour into glasses and garnish with lemon wedges. |
