Ingredients:
1 1/2 pounds ground chuck |
1/2 cup finely chopped onion |
2 tablespoons diced celery |
2 tablespoons diced green pepper |
1 egg, beaten |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
1 cup tomato juice |
3/4 cup quick-cooking oats, uncooked |
Directions:
1. Combine meat, onion, celery, green pepper, egg, salt, and pepper in a large mixing bowl; mix well. Add tomato juice and oats, mixing well. 2. Shape meat mixture into a loaf; place on aluminum foil on a broiler rack. Bake at 350° for 1 hour. |
