Translated from the German a varient on the shaken onion pie recipe. A lovely casserole ! Ingredients:
1 kg leek |
300 g ham (raw) |
200 g flour |
3 eggs |
200 g sour cream |
100 ml condensed milk |
350 emmentaler cheese shredded , divided |
1 tsp pepper or to taste |
1 tsp salt or to taste |
1 tsp nutmeg or to taste |
1 tbs butter |
Directions:
1. Clean the leeks and cut into thin rings ( white part only ) 2. Dice the ham inmto small bite size pieces 3. Set aside 150 grams of cheese 4. Place everything else in a bowl with a lid. 5. Shake all ingrdients well, stir if necessary 6. Butter a 9 or 10 inch glass baking dish, or similar casserole dish and distribute the set aside cheese 7. Add the shaken bowl ingredients 8. Bake 180C about 25 minutes or until golden brown |
