Shaah Bigays - Somali Spice Tea

Sounds similar to Indian Chai.
Ingredients:
3 cloves
1 cinnamon stick
3 peppercorns
2 tea bags or 2 loose tea
4 cups water
2 -3 teaspoons sugar
Directions:
1. Place spices in a mortar and lightly crush.
2. Bring water and sugar to the boil in a pan and add spices, simmer for 5 minutes.
3. Pour this into a tea pot and add the tea bags or loose tea. Steep for 5 mins and then strain into cups.
