Sounds similar to Indian Chai. Ingredients:
3 cloves |
1 cinnamon stick |
3 peppercorns |
2 tea bags or 2 loose tea |
4 cups water |
2 -3 teaspoons sugar |
Directions:
1. Place spices in a mortar and lightly crush. 2. Bring water and sugar to the boil in a pan and add spices, simmer for 5 minutes. 3. Pour this into a tea pot and add the tea bags or loose tea. Steep for 5 mins and then strain into cups. |
