This is the sesame mix I use to make spicy tahini cookies or Zahtar pancakes. Ingredients:
3/4 cup sesame seeds |
1/4 cup black sesame seed |
1 teaspoon cumin |
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon |
1 teaspoon dried thyme |
1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary |
1/2 teaspoon nigella seeds |
Directions:
1. Put all ingredients in a spice grinder or food processor and finely grind. Do not overgrind or you will get tahini! 2. Store in airtight container in the refrigerator. |
