I got this from a friend years ago. Super simple to make. The combination sounds weird, but it works. Use more or less soy sauce to you taste. I like to serve this with Triscuit crackers. This needs to be made at least 4 hours ahead of serving time, but overnight is best. This will last a week in the refrigerator, covered. Enjoy! Ingredients:
8 ounces cream cheese |
1/3 cup soy sauce |
1/4 cup approx. toasted sesame seeds |
Directions:
1. Put cheese in a container just big enough to hold it. 2. With a fork, poke holes in top and bottom of cheese. 3. Slowly pour soy sauce over cheese. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, turning several time to let the flavors blend. 4. When ready to serve, sprinkle the sesame seeds over top covering completely. 5. Serve with triscuits or your favorite crackers. |
