Sesame Oyster Sauce Pak Choi |

Pak Choi can be found in most supermarkets. However, feel free to use any other Chinese leaf vegetable. Alternatively use broccoli or sprouting Broccoli if you can find it. Ingredients:
300g pak choi |
2 cloves fresh garlic |
4 tbsp peanut oil |
quality oyster sauce |
sesame oil |
Directions:
1. Chop garlic and fry in peanut oil until golden. Remove from heat before it becomes too dark as garlic will continue to cook. Spoon into a small bowl and keep aside until pak choi is cooked. 2. Wash pak choi, then cut in half down the centre ensuring core is intact. 3. Place pak choi on a plate and steam in bamboo steamer until stems are just cooked. 4. Drizzle oyster sauce over pak choi, then crispy garlic and sesame oil. 5. Serve immediately. |
