Sesame Garlic Flank Steak |

An Asian inspired marinated flank steak that can be grilled either inside or out. Times do not include marinating (2 -24 hours). Ingredients:
1 1/4 lbs flank steaks |
2 tablespoons soy sauce |
2 tablespoons hoisin sauce |
1 tablespoon sesame oil |
2 garlic cloves, minced |
Directions:
1. With a sharp knife score steak on both sides in a diamond pattern. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over steak. Allow to marinate in the refrigerator for a minimum of 2 hours, up to 24. 2. Heat grill over medium heat. Drain meat, reserving marinade. Grill steak 6 to 9 minutes, each side, for medium rare to medium or until desire doneness. Halfway through turn steak and brush with reserved marinade. 3. Transfer steak to a cutting board and let rest 15 minutes. Cut into thin slices, across the grain. |
