As good as any Chinese Restaurant Ingredients:
3 lbs chicken cutlets (cubed) |
1 cinnamon stick (cut in 3 pieces) |
1 inch fresh ginger (crushed) |
1 scallion (cut into 2-inchpcs) |
1/4 cup light soy sauce |
1 tablespoon dry sherry |
salt |
1 teaspoon sugar |
1 cup cornstarch |
oil |
1 garlic clove (chopped) |
1/2 cup soy sauce |
3 tablespoons red wine vinegar |
4 tablespoons sugar |
2 teaspoons sesame oil |
salt |
sesame seeds |
Directions:
1. Mix chicken with next 7 items & let sit for 2 hours or longer. Roll chicken in cornstarch. Fry until crispy. Prepare sauce with remaining items, heat add cornstarch to thicken pour over chicken. Sprinkle with sesame seeds & serve. |
