Sesame Cheese Crackers

This is a great recipe to serve at a party. This recipe can be doubled and probably should be!
Ingredients:
2 1/4 ounces sesame seeds
1/2 lb grated sharp cheddar cheese (i like mex/tex mix)
1/2 cup butter
1 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 dash cayenne pepper
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400 F degrees.
2. Place last 5 ingredients in a small bowl.
3. Leave out until room temp.
4. Toast seeds on low heat in heavy fry pan stirring constantly (15 min or so).
5. Work dough until well mixed.
6. (I use my hands, other prefer a pastry blender.) Add seeds& mix just until incorporated.
7. Roll dough on floured board until 1/8 in.
8. thick.
9. Use a knife and cut into squares or use (cookie) cutters to make fancier shapes.
10. Place on baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes.
11. Store in airtight container.
