I have this dish quiet often it is relly very good I have change the recipe it called for vinegar and soy sauce I did not like those flavors of the ingredients so I put lemon juice, lemon zest, parmesan cheese made it tast so good. Ingredients:
2 tsp. sesame seeds |
2 tbsp. fresh lemon juice |
2 tbsp. lemon zest |
4 tbsp. butter |
2 tbsp. dry sherry |
1 tbsp. sugar |
1 tsp. gingerroot, grated and peeled |
1 medium garlic clove crushed |
2 cups broccoli flowrets |
1/2 cup parmesan cheese |
Directions:
1. Heat a small skillet over medium high heat. Dry roast the sesame seeds for about 1 to 2 minutes or until golden brown, stirring constantly. Pour onto a small plate, set aside. 2. Put remaining ingredients except the broccoli in skillet. Bring to a boil and boil for 1 minute or until misture measures 1/4 cup. Remove from the heat. 3. Meanwhile steam the broccoli for 4 minutes or until just tender-crisp. 4. Put broccoli in a greased 9 pie plate and pour over the top the butter mixture and Parmesan cheese put under the broiler until golden brown. |
