This recipe is from Mauritius and I found it in the Chicago Tribune or NY Times many years ago. Ingredients:
1 fresh pineapple, peeled, cored, and diced |
1 mango, peeled, seeded, and diced |
1 papaya, peeled, seeded, and diced |
1/4 cup chipped fresh mint |
1/2 cup rum |
1 teaspoon chopped hot pepper |
Directions:
1. Place all the ingredients in a bowl and toss until well-blended. Chill for at least 2 hours, toss again, and serve. |
