This is an Indian dessert known as Roat, so easy to make, and quick too. Ingredients:
3 cups semolina |
3 cups butter |
1 cup evaporated milk |
3 cups powdered milk |
1 pinch saffron |
3 cups sugar |
Directions:
1. 1 . Mix the semolina and butter till the mixture looks like breadcrumbs. 2. 2. Add the milk powder, evaporated milk, saffron and sugar and mix. 3. 3. Leave for 3 hrs so that the mixture doubles in size. 4. 4. Put into a dish and cook for 20 minutes. |
