Easy chicken pie for dinner. Chicken can be cooked the day before to help save on time. Ingredients:
1 (14 1/2 ounce) can of drained mixed vegetables |
1 (12 ounce) jar of classic turkey gravy |
1 tablespoon margarine, diced |
2 pillsburry refrigerated pie crusts (2 crusts for 9-inch pie) |
2 boneless cooked and diced chicken breasts |
Directions:
1. Place pie crust in 9 pie plate firmly. 2. Mix vegetables, gravy, chicken, and pepper to taste gently in a bowl. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 3. Pour mixture into pie dish. Place margarine on top of the mix. 4. Place second pie crust on top and fold sides and press together firmly. Cut slits into the top, about four. 5. Place in preheated oven for 40 minutes and serve. |
